BALI’S BIGGEST CLEAN UP 2019
For the third year now, Bali’s environmental movement and organisation known as One Island One Voice (OIOV) gear up for Bali’s Biggest Clean Up 2019 .
They invite everyone on the island to get involved, work together and find solutions to reduce and manage waste on the island.
In 2017, a collective of NGOs, Orgs, and individuals joined together under the OIOV movement to organise Bali’s Biggest Beach Clean-Up. In 1-day, they mobilised 12,000 people across 55 locations, collecting 40-tons of trash that would have otherwise gone into the ocean.
In 2018 OIOV extended the efforts beyond the beaches and added the successful campaign KOMITMEN. The clean up counted 20.000 people, 120 locations and 65 tons of plastic.
This year the Clean Up will engage with all 8 regions of Bali & Denpasar city – and you are invited.
